How to get started

Admins create buildings
All buildings need to be created by a building admin. We’ll help admins get set up to make onboarding easy. If you want to become an admin, you can also request this role inside the app.

Sign in with your mobile phone
Enter your phone number—Lobbi sends an SMS instantly with a one-time passcode (OTP). Insert the OTP to access.

Join your building with a code
If your building is already created for you:
  • Tap the green “+” in the top-right of the home screen
  • Enter the building code your manager provided
Lobbi can support during this phase to ensure signup runs smoothly.

Kickoff inside the app
After entering the building, owners are prompted to complete a short 5-question survey, then create a voting topic—an idea or proposal you want others to see and vote on.
Typical timeline: we allow about 2 weeks for everyone to sign up. After that, we make sure all users have access to the voting and content they need. That’s it!
